It shows all of your fitness activity on one screen, and if you own an Apple Watch (not required), it also shows it all to you right on your wrist. How cool is that? Let Fitness Watch track your daily total of steps taken, distance walked or ran, flights of stairs climbed, and calories burned, and show these stats to you in one simple screen, without the need of drilling down through multiple screens. Same thing on the Apple Watch... all stats are shown on a single simple screen. Fitness Watch utilizes Apple's new Healthkit and pulls it's stats directly from the Health App on your phone. Because of this, you do not need to have the Fitness Watch app open on your phone to track these statistics, as with other apps utilizing older outdated technology.
